Take a look inside the Architecture Library located on the fourth floor of Knowlton. ✨📚🖋️

💻 First Floor (Slide 1):
On the first floor, you can find many helpful resources. This includes public use computers, a printer, cozy study spots, the circulation desk and, of course, tons of books. You can also reserve a study room if you want to meet with a group or need a little more peace and quiet for yourself.

❓ Circulation Desk (Slide 2):
When walking into the Architecture Library, you'll be greeted by the circulation staff. They can help you find and check-out books, locate resources and answer all your questions!

🌟 Second Floor (Slide 3):
The second floor houses our Special Collections Room. The Special Collections Room houses rare and fragile materials. Patrons interested in viewing materials can request access from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Friday (during fall & spring semester) or by appointment.

🪑Try sitting in one of the fascinating chairs from the Knowlton Furniture Collection!

📖 Book Check-Out (Slide 4):
The Architecture Library houses over 50,000 volumes and a listing of over 150 periodicals that highlight architectural design, architecture history, landscaping, city planning and graphic design to name a few. The collection is full of drawings, floor plans, sketches, photographs and renderings. Be sure to ask the staff for help to find what you're interested in!

📚 Book Mounts (Slide 5):
If your book is too big, you feel like standing or want to check out the artistry of the library's book mounts, you'll find them on the second floor. These mounts give you the opportunity to stand, stretch and stay organized as you read.

🌳 Rooftop Garden (Slide 6):
Knowlton even has a rooftop garden! Access to the rooftop garden is located right outside of the library. There you'll find greenery and relaxing seating areas if you feel like reading or studying. However, inside the library, you get an amazing view of the rooftop garden too. If you want extra sunlight while you work, sit along the windows!
