On behalf of the Global Humanitarian Aid & Social Development, we would love to say happy Somalia independent day

Access to education in the Region remains limited, most of the school-aged
children are not attending schools, during the assessment schools like Jaale
Siyat primary and Iftin Primary in Burdhubo, Kaah Primary School, Khalid
Primary School in Belet-hawa as well Qansahley primary and Kabasa
Primary in Dolow District, the number of pupils are few and the number of
girls attending those schools is very few compare to boys, all those schools
the average number of pupils in each school is 100 pupils and the average
number of girls in each school is 30 which is a low number.
 Most of the IDP camps like Qansahley, Malmal, Tawakal, Jaziira 1, and
other IDP Camps have no vocational training centers to empower youth to
get skilled
HEALTH& NUTRITION
 There is no well equipped clinics or hospitals in some IDP sites (Kabasa IDP,
Qansahley IDPs in Dolow, Malmal IDP, Muuri IDPs in Buurdhubo, and
Tawakal, Xabalo-cadey and Kaamajirix IDPs in Bardhera) in Gedo region
 There is high rate of severe malnutrition in children in the region
