🗣 We are seeking a Raw Material Buyer to support our new location in Grove City, Ohio! This position plays a pivotal role within our textile supply chain and logistics team.

- Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Maintain vendor relationships
- Drive cost savings initiatives
- Negotiate availability and cost of materials from external suppliers.
- Ensure timely placement of PO’s to minimize stock outs
- Build shipment schedule and communicate timing of shipments from wholesalers
- Review inventory levels and implement fulfillment strategies to balance inventory in the distribution center
- Discern and propose strategies to meet the forecasted demand
- Support and maintain inventory in the system
- Support the supply chain organization and business with additional tasks as requested

Your Experience:
- Prior experience in placing and managing purchase orders/new materials (Required)
- Prior experience in vendor management (Required)
- College degree or 3+ years of applicable experience (Preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years of logistics experience
- Experience with international sourcing (Preferred)
- Experience using ERP, MRP, WMS (Preferred)
- Experience in the textile industry (Preferred)
