It's the most wonderful time of year: Greater Columbus Arts Council has released grant information for 2024 and launched its new website.

Take a minute to check out the changes to current programs, and their introduction of new grants for working artists!

Thank you to the Greater Columbus Arts Council for awarding me an Individual Artist grant for 2022 to make new projects possible!

Their support once again has allowed me to invest in myself and improve my artistic process in 2022, which has meant deeper forays into Infrared and Documentary photography.

Thank you to Mayor Andrew J. Ginther, Columbus City Council Members, and Franklin County Commissioners for supporting the arts in Columbus, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, and local artists like me.

North Market at the end of the day has so much dramatic light this time of year, especially if you forget to put your IR cut off filter on your full-spectrum GFX50r!

New haircut, same sweet boy.

Harry asked if he could go the whole summer without a haircut. After a slightly disastrous trim by his Nan a few weeks ago it was time to end the experiment and make a visit to his favorite barber (Rhonda at if you are in the market for a new look yourself).
Harry used to have BIG problems with getting haircuts, but he has been going to Rhonda for a few years now and she does a great job with him and understanding the things about haircuts that he doesn’t like and 1). Distracts him by asking him questions, 2).Let’s him know what she is about to do and what she needs him to do so he doesn’t get startled, and 3). She treats him like any other client and has a real interest in what he shares with her.

Yesterday, rather than going to the to wait out the rain, I went to Lafayette Square for the sit in at the White House.

So today I went to a place and did a thing… I photographed my first protest at the White House.

Some people will do anything to not be in a selfie…South Beach, Miami.

On the second day of summer break I locked us out of the house while trying to get Harry to his Nan’s house for a sleep over.

Good thing she only lives 10 minutes away now to save the day!
