How to avoid "Brown Friday" Plumbing hassles!

Did you know the day after Thanksgiving is one of the busiest days of the year for plumbers? Known as "Brown Friday," it’s when pipes get clogged from fats, oils, and grease (FOG) being poured down the drain during holiday cooking and clean-up.

Keep your drains clog-free and avoid costly repairs with these simple tips:

●Can it! Pour cooled fats, oils, and grease into a can, freeze it, and toss it in the trash when full.
●Wipe it! Use a paper towel to remove leftover grease from pots and pans before washing.
●Strain it! Use a sink strainer to catch food scraps and discard them in the trash.
●Scrap it! Compost vegetable scraps and throw meat or poultry skins in the trash—never down the drain.
Protect your plumbing and enjoy a worry-free holiday season!

Happy Thanksgiving!
