Kiln Room will be at Columbus Arts Festival all weekend! You can find us in the Big Local Arts Village, near the corner of West Rich Street and Startling Street. Visit our booth to enter to win a free pottery lesson - 2 winners will be randomly selected for each day of the festival!

We will have hand-building, wheel-throwing, and pottery surface decoration demonstrations throughout the weekend. Today (Friday), watch ZenEarth Pottery Studio do a hand-building demo of tea bowls from 1-3 PM. Come see Ottaway Clay throw off the hump between 3-5 PM, and Nikki Reiss Ceramics throw BIG pots on the wheel 5 PM and on.

At Kiln Room, we hosted a quarterly challenge for the first quarter of the year - make a birdhouse! We had some wonderful submissions. Artists are tagged in the photo when able, and also credited below. Which one is your favorite?

Hey art teachers! We know you're probably in full summer mode, but we wanted to let you know that we are taking clay orders for fall. We give schools 20% off clay, and we are able to deliver to you. Let us get you started off prepared for clay projects with your students without having to worry about waiting for stock to become available.

Our first camps start in just a couple of weeks! Camps will be held at both our studio and our location on south high street in

Hand-building camps focus on making items with slabs, pinch pots, coil-building, and allow for endless creativity wifh shapes and textures. Wheel-throwing camps introduce kids to using a pottery wheel to shape clay into cylindrical shapes.

Did you know that Kiln Room hosts beginner wheel-throwing classes in the Dublin Arts Council building? A new 6-week series will start the week of June 1st. Classes meet once a week, 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM. Our Tuesday class currently has 4 spots open - the Thursday classes are completely booked.
