I am a movement sciences specialist with my background in physical therapy from Duke University. My background in physical therapy gives me the unique ability to assess movement patterns and determine what each individual athlete needs to work on in order to increase performance and decrease risk of injury. Unpopular opinion of the day.
I watch high schoolers who honestly probably don’t know any better, lifting to get as big as possible because they think it will separate them from their teammates.
“Getting huge” isn’t the same as “getting fast” or “being more athletic.”

The older you get, and the more levels of competition you go through, the more true this is.
