Dublin Cleaners
Dublin Cleaners has always been a forerunner in the dry cleaning industry by keeping our team up to date on the latest cleaning methods.
Some cleaners cut corners when it comes to training and certifications.

Employee Spotlight: Demetrio Morales Santiago
Meet **Demetrio Morales Santiago**.
Demetrio joined Dublin Cleaners in **January 2023** after a friend, Jorge, told him about the opportunity.
Today, he helps inspect garments, remove stains, and prepare clothing for cleaning. He originally started by sorting and preparing orders for our route drivers.
One of his proudest moments was being selected to attend stain removal training and learning how to properly identify and treat garments before cleaning.
Demetrio says **Melissa** has had the biggest impact on him, teaching him how to do things the right way.
What keeps him coming back every day?
He enjoys his work and takes pride in helping support his family.
Outside of work, family is what matters most. His personal goal is to learn English so he can communicate even better.
To Demetrio, Dublin Cleaners means:
**“Support for my family.”**
👏 Thank you, Demetrio, for your hard work and dedication.

Common Dry Cleaning Misconception 👕🚚
“We only have one shirt… we don’t want to bother you.”
Trust us… you’re not bothering us.
Most days, our drivers are already in your neighborhood picking up and delivering for other customers anyway. One sweater, one shirt, one pair of pants — it’s really not a big deal to us.
Life gets busy.
If we can save you one extra errand, that’s kind of the whole point.
And honestly? The “I’ll wait until I have more” pile usually turns into a chair full of clothes. 😅
So if you’ve been putting it off because it’s “only one item”…
send it with us.

Some Things Never Go Out of Style
The equipment has changed.
The styles have changed.
The hair definitely changed.
But the heart of the work?
Still the same.
Care. Skill. Pride. People who know that clean clothes are never just “clean clothes.”
They’re wedding outfits, work uniforms, favorite jackets, school pants, funeral suits, first impressions, big days, ordinary Mondays, and everything in between.
Dublin Cleaners has been doing this since 1934.
And honestly, looking back at these old photos reminds us of something simple:
Good work lasts.

First Impressions Still Matter
A recent Wall Street Journal article on style rules in finance is probably the extreme end of the professional dress code conversation.
But the reminder is a good one:
How we show up still matters.
Here in Central Ohio, across many industries, our appearance often speaks before we do. Clients notice. Teammates notice. Leaders notice. The people we lead notice too.
Fair or not, that first impression can set the tone before our work ever gets the chance to speak for itself.
A sharp suit, a clean shirt, a well-pressed jacket — those details send a quiet message:
I’m prepared.
I care.
I take this seriously.
Style may look different from one profession to the next, but presence matters everywhere.

These Reviews Tell the Real Story 💚
A shirt pressed in 5 hours before an emergency.
A duvet cleaned just in time for arriving guests.
A comforter repaired and cleaned.
A vintage wool blanket brought back to life.
A wedding dress returned with a handwritten note.
Reading through these reviews, one thing stands out:
People remember how you make them feel.
The cleaning matters.
The alterations matter.
The timing matters.
But what people talk about most is being cared for.
To everyone who took a moment to leave a review, thank you. Your kind words mean the world to our team and remind us why we've been doing this since 1934.
We're grateful for every customer, every garment, and every story that comes through our doors. 💚

Dry Cleaning Fun Fact 🧥
That little plastic bag over your clothes?
It’s for transport… not long-term storage.
Keeping garments sealed in plastic for too long can trap moisture, hold odors, and even cause yellowing on certain fabrics over time.
Your clothes want to breathe too. 😅
If you’re storing seasonal pieces, wedding gowns, or suits, proper garment bags and professional preservation make a huge difference.
A lot of fabric damage happens in the closet, not in the wash.

Before GPS. Before Apps. Before Pickup Notifications.
That van in the photo?
It was delivering clothes long before smartphones, route optimization, or online scheduling existed.
These are some of the earliest photos from our archives when we were still Hudson Cleaners. The presses were bigger, the equipment was simpler, and every order was tracked by hand.
But some things haven't changed.
People still wanted their clothes cleaned properly.
They still wanted service they could trust.
And they still appreciated someone showing up when they said they would.
These photos aren't just old pictures.
They're proof that long before convenience became a marketing buzzword, it was already part of what we did.
From Hudson Cleaners to Dublin Cleaners.
From vintage delivery vans to modern routes.
From then to now.
The mission remains the same.
Serving Central Ohio since 1934. 🖤🤍

Employee Spotlight: Janice Duffy
You can tell a lot about a workplace by the people who quietly keep it moving.
Meet Janice Duffy, one of the talented silk finishers behind the scenes at Dublin Cleaners.
Janice joined us in September 2021 after getting a call from Brian looking for a presser. She stepped in, got to work, and never looked back.
When we asked Janice what proud moment stands out most during her time here, her answer was simple:
“I am always proud of myself.”
Honestly? That kind of confidence and self-respect is something you can feel the second you meet her.
She also told us:
“I like where I work.”
And when asked what Dublin Cleaners means to her:
“Pride where I work at.”
That says everything.
No big speeches. No spotlight chasing.
Just consistency, pride, and showing up every day ready to do great work.
Thank you, Janice. We’re lucky to have you as part of the Dublin Cleaners family. 💙
