September 11th has been a solemn day of remembrance for the last 24 years. Since the horrific attacks that robbed so many of life and loved ones. This has been a day we united in both grief and a memory of the hope that we found together in one of the darkest hours of our nation. Today, an America that can rally together to mourn a great loss, even more sadly, seems an America lost to time.
Yesterday, Charles James Kirk was assassinated at a speaking event in Utah. No phrases such as "passed away" or "no longer with us" can adequately convey what transpired. In the harsh light of day, in front of a large crowd, Charlie's life was stolen by a coward; one who is still being championed by other cowards. His life was taken at the age of only 31. Charlie Kirk was a father, husband, son, and friend beloved by many. While it is easy to disagree with the outlooks and opinions of our fellow man, this occurrence is appalling. It should chill everyone who hears about it. Charlie Kirk loved God, his family, and his Country. He stood by his beliefs, and he defended them passionately and with integrity. This is America. Should we not be above killing one another over political differences? Is this our future? How have we forgotten that to be American is to be free to think and speak how we please? We should not have to fear violent reprocussions from the opposite political party no matter where you stand. Our Country is being torn apart. And with one bullet, we now question if it can ever be fixed. Can we come together again knowing that there are those out there who support such needless violence for the "crime" of disagreeing?
We swore we would never forget. Yet it seems we have. Today our prayers go out to those who are mourning both losses in the past, and those far more recent. And we pray that the heart of our nation once so strong and united, may be found again.

Today marks another anniversary of the heinous attacks of September 11th, 2001. We remember the heart wrenching catastrophe that tore so many lives apart, and the selfless heroism of those who gave their all to save as many lives as they could. As a Nation we swore that we would never forget. And today over two decades later, we honor that promise as our thoughts and prayers are with those lost and those who bravely continue on despite the tragic losses they suffered.

Today our nation stops to recall the catastrophic and heartbreaking events that occured in September of 2001. We are once again forced to recall the horrors, chaos, and fear that gripped our country in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. We remember those who were taken so cruelly and suddenly from their loved ones. We also remember those who valiantly sacrificed their lives in hope of saving someone else's. It is impossible not to grieve with those who lived on, continuing to suffer the loss of those they held dear. We are also, however, united in recalling the courage, compassion, and hope that united us in such dark times. On this day, just as we did then, we share our love and prayers with those still haunted by the lasting and devastating effects of that day. We mourn the victims and give thanks to the first responders, paramedics, firefighters, police officers, K-9 units, and volunteers. Many of whom did not hesitate to give their all for their fellow man. Today is not a day for arguments or insults. It is a time to recall the love and unity that we all shared as a nation in a time of terrible tribulation.

Katanji Jackson has been confirmed to the Supreme Court with a vote of 53 to 47. Despite this win the Liberal establishment is still finding a way to whine, moan, and play the victim. It appears that when the left trots out their latest woke apologist and she receives a prominent position of power those on the opposite side are expected to cheer and bow down to the “historical moment.” However we are still unclear on what this historic moment actually is. We are being led to believe that she is not the first woman on the bench; although it is still unclear what a woman actually is seeing as how she cannot define the word. She is also not the first African American person on the bench, so forgive us for holding our applause. Statements have been made that the Republicans have been “rude” due to not cheering, one may have been late, and one wasn’t allowed in due to not wearing a tie. The sheer audacity. Now it is not out of pure spite or malice that we disapprove of Jackson's confirmation, we simply vehemently disagree with many of her viewpoints and rulings. She has openly admitted to approving of critical race and gender theory being in public schools, even for elementary aged children. She is also soft on child p**n, drastically reducing recommended sentences for convicted offenders with worrying backgrounds. The pure insolence of the Republican party to not cheer as this radical leftist woman is placed on the highest Court in the land is clearly egregious. This coming from the party who accused Justice Brett Kavanaugh of gang r**e with no evidence 36 years after the alleged offense. Yet the outrageous issue is that Republicans didn’t applaud like trained seals. Not that we have just appointed a child trafficking enabler to a potentially life long position. No, they didn’t clap. They didn’t clap for a woman who can’t provide a definition for the word woman. They didn’t clap for a woman with no respect for the position she now holds. And we won’t clap. The time to pretend for the sake of civility is over. Because the threat against women and children is becoming more prominent with each passing day. This woman and those who support her are giving rise to the problems at hand. This is not a historic moment, this is a regretful moment that the Supreme Court has sunk this low to the radical left.

Russian missiles appear to have hit major cities in Ukraine. Namely Kharkiv and Berdyansk. There have also been reports of gunfire in Kyiv. Vladimir Putin has confirmed there is a “military operation” underway. Contrary to Biden's strong words in 2019, it seems Putin in fact does not view him as a threat or even as a leader with any sort of conviction. Putin seems to understand that even if Biden does decide to retaliate on behalf of Ukraine it will be a painfully slow process and will likely have all of the decorum and precision of the Afghanistan abandonment a few months ago.
In light of commentary from both sides of the political aisle the last few days it is important to be clear. We pray for the innocents of Ukraine, and strongly hope that they are able to fight back and defend themselves against this horrendous invasion. However, there are currently other pressing dangers at America’s doorstep and we can only hope our government recognizes and begins combating the perils facing us here and now. A country that cannot take care of itself cannot help another without risking its own people, democracy, and sovereignty. Our division makes us unable to lead on a global front. If we cannot lead there will always be other malevolent powers waiting with baited breath to fill that role. We must at least begin removing the plank from our own eye before we can risk large scale foreign aid (and possibly WWIII). In the words of the great Abraham Lincoln, "A house divided cannot stand
