Our first project using the pneumatic rivet nut gun and our new laser welder.

In its final form, this structure will sit behind the scenes, supporting massive screens and doing the work you'll never see, but will rely on every day. A great opportunity to fine-tune the precision and processes of these new tools.

It came in today and has already earned its place in the shop. We're always looking for ways to improve efficiency, and the right tools make that possible.

All that welding and grinding pays off when the finish goes on and the vision finally comes to life.

The team has been working incredibly hard to bring this structure together, and whatever the challenge, we find a way to make it happen 🫡🤘

Slowly but surely, it's all coming together.

And by "slowly and surely", we mean it's coming together through weeks of hard work, intense planning, adaptability, sweat and elbow grease, sore muscles, tired bodies, endless hardware store runs and, of course, that midwest grit 😤

Honored to craft the new reception desk at their HQ – baltic birch with sacred geometry engravings and a stunning soapstone logo that grounds the whole piece. Grateful for the trust and the ongoing collaboration.

We've been in the welding room this week making a frame to host the Sertok (rooftop spire) for the Columbus KTC Buddhist center.

In Tibetan tradition, a Sertok is placed on the highest point of a Buddhist temple. It helps weary travelers find a place of spiritual activity, and it is intended to signify the transcendent nature of Buddha and enlightened mind.

Though we have just a small role in this final part of the project, we have loved working with KTC this year.
