Patriotic Celebration
On Sunday, June 28, 2026 Pleasant Heights Baptist Church will host a Patriotic Sing-a-long at 5:00 p.m. Our Deacons will provide Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, as well as drinks. We ask the church family to provide side dishes and desserts. Join as we sing in gratitude for 250 years of freedom as a nation. Prizes will be awarded for the most patriotically dressed child, student and adult. It's going to be a great afternoon of fun and fellowship.

Recruitment of Apex Volunteers

Every Monday night, a group from Pleasant Heights Baptist Church crosses the parking lot to do hands-on ministry among the clients at the Apex Recovery Rehab facility. This is a wonderful way to be salt and light in our community. For the sake of the kingdom of God, we go to those who are hurting. It is a rotating group, so no one goes every single week. Some will offer words of devotion. Some will bring snacks and fruit, so we can demonstrate hospitality to the clients. However, we all attempt to engage and interact for the sake of the kingdom of God. If you would like to go sometime to see if this would be a good fit for you, discuss this in advance with Dr. Hollingsworth. We show love because Christ first showed love toward us.

We are still collecting change until Sunday, June 21st. If you haven't already, please take a bottle, fill with your spare change, cash or a check and return to the church office. All donations will help support the crisis pregnancy center in Columbia. All bottles, filled or empty must be returned Monday, June 22nd.
