Our STEM family is growing!

We are thrilled to welcome Gray Collegiate Academy to The STEM Lab family as our newest partner!
Starting this Fall, we will be bringing our hands-on robotics, coding, AI, and engineering programs to Gray Collegiate students through brand-new afterschool offerings.
And the best part? These programs will be available across three Gray Collegiate Academy campuses:

This partnership means more young innovators will get the chance to build, code, problem-solve, and discover what they are capable of - right after the school day ends. We can't wait to see what these students create!

We are sharing some pics from this week across our camps - and with them, a little behind-the-scenes honesty.

When you are running camps at the scale we run them, real life shows up. Technology that worked perfectly in testing decides camps are a great time to stop working. 🙃 Instructors deal with car troubles and life happening (because they are human). We make errors. Troubleshooting means swapping out devices on the fly. Apps get re-coded mid-week to fix bugs we didn't catch until 30 users hit them at once.

We don't always meet every expectation. We'll be the first to say that.
But here's what we also know - this week, more than 120 kids showed up, dove in, figured things out, built things, broke things on purpose, and had a blast doing it. And THAT part? That part worked beautifully. 💛
We are always learning alongside our kids. Always improving. Always working to make the next week better than the last.

Thank you to every family who trusts us with their child's summer. We don't take that lightly - and we never will.

Our week 1 of Minecraft Odyssey at Seven Oaks Park is off to a fun start. Campers will go from building a city on Earth to building a colony on Mars. Our young engineers dove headfirst into Minecraft Odyssey today, tackling their first Mission to Mars 🪐

At The STEM Lab we are always pushing the boundary of what we can learn and teach. Using the first principles approach we like to introduce advanced topics to the younger students. Today our STEM Seniors at the Innovation Hub gotta try neuroscience which we plan to introduce next year as a full curriculum
