I had a great experience working with Terri at Moore to sell the project on Pope. Congratulations to the new owner Emily.

The last month has been crazy and I'm glad to finally get back to some of the finishing details on this project. I couldn't find any trim that had the right bevel to frame the hearth area so I made my own out of some scrap oak I had left over from making transitions to the kitchen. The tile layout is now complete. Time to cut many tiny pieces to fit around the edges and nail down the trim.

The final big project was the old hardwood floors. Oak in the living room and dinning room with heart pine in the hall and bedrooms. I had to repair where pine was used around the fireplace before floor guy could come in and work his magic.

Sorry for the delays on the tile update. Grout in the next few days.

Tile time! Hall bath will get 3x6 subway tile. First up Schluter waterproofing membrane followed by the the tile.
