Good afternoon Viking Family,

Due to the extreme heat forecasted for tomorrow, we have made the decision to cancel the Viking Kickoff Fest.

While we were looking forward to bringing our Viking community together, the safety of our student-athletes, families, staff, vendors, and guests is our top priority.

Thank you to everyone who helped plan, prepare, and support the event.

Now, our focus turns to the regular season! We kick things off next Friday at 7:30 PM at Richland Northeast High School in a rivalry matchup.

We look forward to seeing the Viking Family show up and support our young men as we begin the 2026 season!

Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Breakfast pastries, juice, and coffee will be served.

Late Start Reminder 💚💛

Spring Valley High School will have a late start on Wednesday, August 12.

Classes begin at 9:50 AM. Students should plan to arrive by 9:00 AM, as traffic is heavier on Wednesdays.

Bus riders should arrive at their assigned bus stops 35 to 45 minutes later than their normal schedule.

Please allow extra time for arrival.
