I love how far vegan meat-like products have come, and My Pulled Pork is an excellent example. The scent is real smoke, and the texture is pretty spot on. So of course I had to pair it with the gold standard of South Carolina barbecue sauces, yellow mustard sauce! It stood up well and enhanced the mycelium that makes up the product. Checking out the new in Columbia! I’ve heard friends from Alabama gush about this place so it’s nice to have one nearby because their chicken fingers and special sauce are quite unique. Columbians take our chicken very seriously! Thanks to Guthrie’s for inviting me out to enjoy their newest location, I have no doubt everyone who stops by will enjoy their singular focus on chicken fingers! ✌🏼
Y’all are really going to like once you go. It’s nicer than you’re thinking it might be. There are 12 food and drink vendors in this open air food court, plenty of seating, yes heaters!, and just looks like it’ll be a good place to you guessed it — gather. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9/10 p.m. daily so you could go at an off hour to explore it too, which is exactly when I’ll be back for more! 🥂
🍂🍁🪵 Sometimes I can’t believe I just drive across the river without paying attention to it. There’s so much to see when you stop and look at it.
