Tip of the Week: Fuel Grade

Some cars have the required and recommended fuel grades on the inside of the gas tank door.

If not, you can always check your owner's manual.

⛽ Premium gasoline has a higher octane rating (usually 91-94), which resists premature detonation and knocking in high-compression or turbocharged engines.

⛽ It can also protect the engine from knocking even in some vehicles that normally run on regular, If you drive in extreme heat, carry heavy loads, or tow on steep inclines.

⛽ Otherwise, save your wallet from taking an even bigger hit at the pump for using premium fuel unnecessarily.

And just like that Day 5 of Hot Rod Power Tour 2026 has concluded and the waiting game begins again.
Definitely have a great story to tell from this year.

Day 5 of Hot Rod Power Tour 2026 has started off amazing. We have visited some really cool historic locations and taken some great pictures.

Exhaustion won before making the post of Day 4 of Hot Rod Power Tour.
We got to take a picture with another Route 66 sign, saw Uranus Fudge Factory, and finished the day with a crowd asking and talking to us about the truck.

Starting out Day 4 of Hot Rod Power Tour. First fill up of the day and we are off to the route.

Had lots of fun on Day 3 of Hot Rod Power Tour 2026. We traveled with friends all day, saw some interesting sights, and got a picture with a Route 66 sign. Can’t wait to start Day 4 in the morning.
