The first Colonial Life Charity Classic was a week filled with great competition, new connections, and a positive impact on our community.

There was impressive play on the course and many memorable moments with colleagues, partners, and supporters. This tournament brought everyone together for a common goal. Congratulations to Cole Sherwood for a great win and thank you to every participant and volunteer for making this event special.

We are proud to support the United Way of the Midlands (SC), the main beneficiary of this tournament. By working together, we are creating opportunities that strengthen our communities and make a real difference. Thanks to everyone’s generosity and involvement, this year’s event will help support programs that address homelessness, early childhood literacy, access to quality healthcare, and workforce development.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible!

World Health Day is a timely reminder for benefits leaders to focus on prevention. An estimated 44% of cancer deaths occurring in the U.S. in 2025 were linked to potentially modifiable risk factors, highlighting the impact of employer-supported wellness and preventive care. With cancer driving more than $21 billion annually in patient economic burden, the right mix of wellness programs and disability benefits can help protect employee health, productivity, and long-term workforce stability.
