This transition also marks a meaningful moment of gratitude and recognition for Mickey Layden, who is stepping back from her role as CEO after 32 years of building LCK into one of the region’s most respected owner’s representation and project management firms. Mickey will continue her involvement as Founder and Chair Emeritus, remaining active in the community, business development and key client relationships.

The Saluda Skyride has taken flight! In August, we celebrated the completion of the Saluda Skyride at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. Located at the heart of the zoo, the skyride spans over 1,700 ft and soars approximately 90 ft above the Saluda River, offering visitors an efficient and scenic way to travel between Riverbanks’ two campuses. This project was made possible through the collaboration of Riverbanks Zoo, LCK, CLR Design, Leitner-Poma, and Hood Construction. Coming Soon: The Jane B. Friedman Conservation Learning Center. The City of Georgetown South Carolina has officially broken ground on its new City Hall, a project that will centralize city operations and improve accessibility for residents. Georgetown Mayor Carol Jayroe and community leaders were joined by Coastal Structure Corporation, the design-build partner for the project, to celebrate this milestone. Alexander Seglem, LCK Project Manager, was proud to represent LCK at the ceremony.
