Our Upcoming August Events - Lunch & Learn Board Member Interest Meeting on August 22nd, 11 am to 1 pm, and Morning Outreach Event on August 29th, 7 am to 9 am

We hope you are planning to enjoy the holiday in a special way.

Our outreach event on Saturday, June 27th was another wonderful opportunity to show compassion and serve those in need. We came prepared with snack and toiletry bags, clothing, and refreshments for participants to enjoy. Each participant received a snack bag and toiletry bag to take with them as a gift.

A special highlight of the event was the inspiring message shared by our speaker, Brandon. He blessed everyone with a beautiful song and a heartfelt testimony that encouraged and uplifted those in attendance. The participants expressed gratitude for the items received and the message of hope.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our volunteers for generously giving their time to serve those in need. We also want to thank NorthStar Christian Center and every supporter of Impact Change. Your kindness, generosity, and dedication make these outreach events possible, and we are truly grateful for your continued support.

Our next event - 06.27.26

Good afternoon,

This is an update on our recent outreach event held on Saturday, May 30th. It was a successful day of serving individuals in need within the community. Through the generosity of our supporters and volunteers, we provided refreshments, snack bags, summer clothing, shoes, belts, hats, resume assistance, job and resource information, and prayer. We helped a total of 28 people.

During the event, we had the opportunity to connect with some attendees and hear their stories. One lady had recently left the hospital after suffering a foot burn and was thrilled to find a pair of nearly new sandals that fit her perfectly and did not put pressure on her injury. Another woman has been living on the streets for two years but is determined to improve her situation. We assisted her with resume development and provided information on housing options and bus passes. Additionally, a gentleman who runs his own lawn care business is currently residing in a sober living house in Columbia. He mentioned that he cannot work when it rains and was very thankful for the assistance he received.

As always, it is a blessing and privilege to serve those in need. Every interaction reminds us of the importance of compassion, encouragement, and practical support. A special THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who participated, as well as those who faithfully support our mission through financial contributions and prayer. Your generosity makes these outreach efforts possible, and we are truly grateful.

Job Training & Ministry Outreach Event - 05/30/26

Good evening,

This is an update on the outreach event held this past Saturday, April 18th. We visited several areas in downtown Columbia where individuals experiencing homelessness are commonly found. During the outreach, we distributed 43 snack bags, bottles of water, Bibles, and information for those interested in becoming new believers. The individuals we served were very appreciative, and it was truly a wonderful time of giving back to the community.

Our next event is scheduled for Saturday, May 30th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center. More information to come.

This is an update on the Kickoff event held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in downtown Columbia on Saturday, March 28th. The center provided an excellent space for the event, allowing us ample room to set up and provide services.

We came well prepared with refreshments, snack bags, an inspirational message, and employment services. Although attendance was small, our mission remained the same—to serve and support individuals experiencing homelessness, regardless of the number in attendance. We are grateful for every opportunity to serve, and we give God the glory for the work being done according to His will.

A special thank you to all the volunteers who supported this event. Your dedication, compassion, and willingness to serve are truly appreciated.
