Good morning! A weak cold front approaches from our north today, but it won’t have enough energy behind it to pass through. The additional cloud cover you notice this morning will stick around throughout the day, keeping us mostly cloudy.
It’ll feel summer-like outside, especially this afternoon. High temperatures will top out near 90 degrees. During the afternoon, a stray shower or storm is possible, but most of us will stay dry.
Hotter and more humid days are ahead, especially by the end of the work week. High temperatures will likely heat up to the middle 90s by late week as moisture increases.
As moisture levels increase, we will be tracking the chance of showers and thunderstorms this week that will be driven by the heating of the day. Expect a few pop-up downpours at times Monday ahead of a slightly better chance of scattered showers Tuesday from a weakening front,
We'll continue to heat up into the upper 80s to lower 90s today. It will be noticeably more humid with rain chances returning for the workweek.
It's looking like another great day to get outside! However, it will be hot this afternoon with highs around 90 degrees.
A weakening backdoor front will bring in a slight better chance of rain to the Midlands on Tuesday. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms at times, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will gradually cool down tonight to the upper 60s under a partly cloudy sky. High pressure will stay in control of our forecast Sunday keeping us hot and dry. Expect highs in the afternoon to peak in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
We'll heat up and stay dry through the weekend with rain chances returning for the upcoming workweek.
We'll enjoy a summer-like weekend with highs in the lower 90s. Despite a few more clouds mixed in with the sunshine, we'll stay dry until the workweek.
High temperatures this weekend will top out just above normal in the lower 90s across the Midlands. Thankfully, we will also stay dry and rain-free through the weekend.
