About — Raven Studio Raven Dance Studio is based in Maytown, PA, offering classes in ballet, pointe, contemporary, tap, jazz, and visual arts. Artistic director Melissa Goodling continues to provide quality dance education with very small class sizes to children and adults.

During our yoga session last month, I asked the students to close their eyes and imagine the color, smell, taste, feel, and sound of LOVE, and I recorded all of their responses. Prior to that, we talked about why we celebrate Valentine's Day and how we show each other love. I went home and created this poem by combining the students' thoughts. Today, I went back and gave them each copy of our poem and told them that usually there's only one author, but that they were ALL authors of this poem. Each child got to choose a color for their background. Colors reflect something about a person, they help tell our story. I just wish I would've snapped a group photo of the children with their beautiful creations! I love this diverse group. They are so full of love and kindness and beauty. I just hope that they can grow up in a world with less fear and more love and acceptance than my children are now. Let's all do our part to make sure that dream becomes reality. With love...
After a successful year of Yoga in the Classroom at a couple local childcare centers, I would love to dedicate more time and energy to this work! Spent some time volunteering at Donegal Primary School this month doing yoga with the students in phys Ed class. Thank you to Mrs. Gorman for inviting me back this year to help the kiddos find their balance!
Another fun visit with the kiddos at Little People's daycare today! We took a "trip" to the seashore, went surfing (to the Beach Boys), and created many ocean life poses! Good times 🌞
