H4Rmy, this is Hutch, the founding member of Heroes 4 Ransom. There's been a lot of behind the scenes events happening so I wanted to give you all an update:

After 13 years, Heroes 4 Ransom has decided to take an indefinite break. We are postponing the release of our album and will not be playing any future shows. Myself and the two remaining members did some soul searching and realized we needed a break to pursue other facets of life.

It would truly be impossible to mention every single person, venue, and fan that presented us with opportunities and support. But know that we are forever grateful for everyone that has had a part in Heroes 4 Ransom's success. Without you, there would be no H4R! 🥰

Since the band's inception in 2011, Heroes 4 Ransom released one studio album (Who Are They), two singles (Imagine and Redemption), and performed some awesome shows with many national acts and local bands alike. We gained amazing fans that became friends and family and played at incredible and diverse venues. We've poured so much of our hearts and souls into this band and our music, and we are so thankful that you took the journey with us! 💙

Before signing off, I want to stress the importance of protecting your creative work. Keep records, time stamps, and back up files. Up until this point, H4R had been working on a self-produced studio album. This album contained songs (with the exception of two) that existed since, and before, the start of the band. Years of life experiences, emotions, and talent weaved into songs that I wrote about my battle with addiction. These songs came to have a much deeper and emotional meaning after losing my son to his battle with addiction; so in essence these have become his songs.

Someone I trusted wiped our drive of all the progress we had made for the new album. Fortunately, we were able to recover the deleted files and have timestamped proof of our content, showing we are the ones that produced it. Not that there would be a question, because many of you have witnessed these songs performed over the last 13 years. There is also video proof of me playing these songs with their fundamental structure and lyrics since well before 2020! 😎

There has been at least one fake H4R email detected ([email protected]). If you recieve an email from any address other than [email protected], do not engage.

Let this be a lesson to all those making creative content - protect your work! 🤘

This wasn't an easy decision. We've had a blast creating music, playing alongside some extremely talented bands, and meeting awesome fans. Again, thank you, H4Rmy for all your love and support throughout the years.
