Dr. Travis Gleaton, VP of Student Services at Florence-Darlington Technical College, was also recognized for his outstanding leadership as the group’s chair this past year.

Columbia High JAG alumna Tianiya Keller, Class of 2025, has returned for her second year as a City of Columbia Intern, an opportunity made possible through her involvement in the Columbia High JAG Program.

Tianaya is a rising sophomore at Johnson C. Smith University and is working toward her dream of becoming a child psychologist. We are proud to see her continuing to gain valuable workforce experience while pursuing her educational and career goals.

The JAG program is committed to helping students connect education, career readiness, and real-world opportunities, and Tianiya is a shining example of that success. We look forward to watching her continue to grow and make a positive impact in the lives of children and families.

JAG-SC was at Columbia High School celebrating their National Service Project Merit Award (High School Division) that they recently won at the JAG National Career Development Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. Congratulations again to these amazing students, Ms. Latonya Jackson (JAG Specialist), and Dr. Shawn Washington (Principal) on this amazing achievement!

Today we celebrated the graduates of the 2025–2026 SCTCS Leadership Academy as they took the stage to be recognized for their dedication, growth, and hard work over the last eight months. The future is bright with leaders like these advancing within the System!
