We're serving fish and grits to the community of homeless, travelling neighbors and some invited seniors, where guests will receive a foot-washing service and any additional necessary foot care, and they'll leave with a blessing bag of essentials. There are a number of tasks to make this day happen -- you don't have to wash feet! Take the day, sign up and join us for compassionate community care.

On Good Friday, GF3 – Columbia will offer a day of compassionate care, hot lunch, and foot care for invited seniors and traveling neighbors in our community.

For many people, basic foot care is something they simply cannot access.
A small act of service can mean comfort, dignity, and connection.

After our 2024 GF3 event, our board took a year to thoughtfully evaluate how we could continue serving our community safely and sustainably for volunteers.

This year we are partnering with Brookland United Methodist Church, where seniors and traveling neighbors already gather regularly for food and fellowship.

We took a year sabbatical, and we are back in service -- a little different, a lot better!

GF3 is taking a sabbatical.
After over ten years serving Columbia's homeless community, we need a break to better serve the feet of the homeless and preserve the safety of our volunteers. Our focus has always been compassionate foot care, served with a hot meal and blessing bag. This past year's event unpacked a few mental illness and drug abuse episodes that detoured our effectiveness, and potentially our safety. We are regrouping to partner in a different, more efficient, safer environment.
We're planning our comeback in 2026. Until then, we appreciate your continued monetary support to cover our storage, software, and annual accounting/license fees.
