I tried a new recipe I found on Instagram.
I made a vegan version. I used vegan pesto and didn’t add dairy. It is packed with protein and healthy ingredients.
It makes a good side dish to bring to your next cookout. ☀️ 🌳 🧺
Squatted with the barbell for the first time since late July 2025 due to wrist issues. Felt great to go back to one of my favorite traditional lifts! 95lbs for 10 reps but I’ll take that as a win 🥇
Lifting is a privilege that I celebrate often by getting in the gym and doing the grind.
My strong ‘a&&’ client achieving new PR’s regularly! I didn’t film the actual 225lbs squat for 2 reps as I was busy spotting her on this awesome feat! 🙌🏻

A little back story- - - this morning I went to pick up a bagel for my daughter and while walking into the store my left flip flop busted. While walking out of the shop, my right flip flop also busted. I had two flat tires 🛞😂
Also you can’t run in flip flops!

Coming back from an injury sure is humbling. I am not even close to lifting as heavy as I was 6 months ago. However, I am looking at my accomplishments no matter how big or small.
I am back to making progress and lifting consistently. That will help me reach new goals. And let’s not ignore the impact of consistency; it helps my body and mind.
I am starting to feel like myself again while utilizing my favorite room in the house and that deserves to be celebrated. 💪🏻
We all hit bumps in the road but it is the act of continuing to drive forward that matters. Keep pushing and reaching for the stars ⭐️

While visiting a gym away from home and I see a leg press; it makes my day! 🦵🏻
It is even more endorphin boosting than ever because I am still in recovery mode due to a recent wrist surgery. I don’t have to use my hands for this tried and true machine. 🙌🏻

Due to my recent wrist surgery, my workouts look different yet they are still as effective.
Here is a sample workout. It is a bodyweight only, plyometric and abdominal workout. After my warm up, I preformed 3 rounds of each exercise.

Have you ever heard of De Quervain’s tenosynovitis? Me neither until I had it.
It is a painful inflammation of tendons on the thumb side of the wrist, commonly caused by overuse. Some people recover without surgery. Unfortunately mine wouldn’t go away on its own. I opted for surgery. I am now two weeks post op and am feeling great!
I did have to stop using weights for a few weeks so I changed up my workouts to cardio, abdominal work and lower body plyometrics.
I miss lifting but know to trust the process of recovery so I can get back at it.
