We’re in the heart of Tupelo season 🍯🌿
For only about two short weeks each spring, the white Tupelo trees bloom along the river basins of Northwest Florida—creating the brief window for our bees to make one of the rarest honeys in the world.

That’s why Tupelo is known as “the 2-week honey.”
A harvest this special happens just once a year, and right now we’re in the middle of it.

Every jar of Tupelo starts here—deep in the river swamps where this golden honey is made.
Smooth, buttery, and unlike anything else… this is the season honey lovers wait all year for.

Something new this season… Chasin the Flow.

I manage some hives in a very rural area of SW Maury County, full of old growth black locust, tulip poplar, cottonwood, wild blackberry, and many other wildflowers. I found a 12’x7’ flatbed trailer for a steal, fitted it with a toolbox and a dozen heavy duty D-rings so I could tie down and transport colonies to nectar rich areas for short durations without having to unload them. This will hold 2 rows of 5 hives with plenty of room down the middle to easily inspect them.

It’s that time of year… SWARM SEASON!
