Did you know something as simple as changing your air filter can help prevent AC issues and even lower your utility costs? If you notice ice on your AC lines or your system struggling to keep up, your filter may be the first thing to check.

A few quick tips to help keep your home cooler this summer:

❄️ Change your air filter regularly
❄️ Our office may already have your filter size on file and can help guide you on how to replace it
❄️ Don’t turn your thermostat down drastically to cool faster — this can overwork and freeze your unit
❄️ Instead, lower the temperature gradually a couple degrees at a time
❄️ Try not to set your thermostat much lower than 68-70 degrees
❄️ Keep blinds closed during the hottest parts of the day
❄️ Keep interior doors open for better airflow and circulation
❄️ Close vents in rooms that are rarely used

Small steps can help avoid larger AC problems during the hottest months of the year! 🏡
