Fox VS Hedgehog 🦊🦔 This fox was trying its luck, but the hedgehog was having none of it ❌ Red foxes, being opportunists, will attempt to predate hedgehogs if the chance arises, but are very rarely successful as the hedgehogs defence mechanism of curling up into a spiky ball can’t be penetrated by the fox! Mostly they will live alongside one another quite peacefully, we think this fox just got curious but they did end up eating alongside each other - and then another hedgehog appeared! A hedghog carrying its hoglet 🦔🥰 Baby hedgehogs - known as hoglets - will leave their nest at around 3-4 weeks old to go on foraging trips with their mother. But if their nest is disturbed or they wander too far from the nest before then, mum will gently pick them up and carry them to safety one by one 😍 After around 10 days of foraging with their mum, the youngsters will head off to start life on their own 🦔 🎥 Kathleen Hughes #Springwatch 🐣🌿

Kids can't resist hedgehogs (and neither can I 😂).

This is really ground breaking! And, another thing to ask your vet to rule in/out if your hedgie presents with what appears to be possible neurological issues.
