Congratulations to former Public Information Administrative Coordinator Daniel James II! Daniel now serves as the Special Assistant for Public Engagement at the U.S. Department of Commerce-National Telecommunications and Information Administration.

Since June 2022, Daniel has worked to amplify the voices of ethnic minority communities through the development of the agency's first podcast, “The Culture Connect”, and a new series titled “CMA meets”. Daniel’s achievements were recently recognized with the Executive Director’s Award, an honor awarded to an individual who displays superior dedication, exemplary leadership, and outstanding performance.

“We want to thank Daniel for his unwavering dedication to serving CMA and the state of South Carolina. We are confident that Daniel will continue to excel and make meaningful contributions in his new role."
