Good morning brothers and sisters. Have a wonderful blessed day 🌞🙏

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of a new day. Thank You for watching over us through the night and bringing us safely into this morning. Your mercy is new every day, and Your faithfulness never fails.

Lord, as we begin this day, guide our steps and direct our paths. Fill our hearts with Your peace, our minds with Your truth, and our lives with Your purpose. Help us to trust You in every situation and to remember that no challenge is greater than Your power.

Give strength to the weary, comfort to the hurting, healing to the sick, and hope to those who feel discouraged. Help us to be a light in this world, showing kindness, love, and grace to everyone we meet.

Protect our families, our homes, and our loved ones throughout this day. Open doors that no man can shut, and give us wisdom to follow Your will. Let everything we do bring honor and glory to Your name.

No matter what comes our way today, help us to keep our eyes fixed on You, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans are always good.

We thank You, we trust You, and we praise You.

In Jesus' mighty name we pray,

Amen. 🙏❤️

"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24 KJV ✝️🌅

The Old Man and the Stray Dog

Every morning, an old man named Walter sat on the same weathered bench outside his small apartment. He didn't have much in this world. His apartment was simple, his furniture was old, and his bank account was nearly empty.

But every morning, he smiled.

Beside him sat a scruffy little stray dog named Max.

Walter was fighting cancer. The treatments had taken his strength, his hair, and most of his savings. Some days, simply walking from his apartment to the bench left him exhausted. Yet he never complained.

One afternoon, his son David came to visit.

David's life had been hard. Years of bad choices, broken relationships, and regret weighed heavily on him. He carried anger toward himself everywhere he went.

As they sat together on the bench, David finally asked, "Dad, how can you still smile? You're sick. You have almost nothing. And yet you're happier than people who have everything."

Walter looked down at Max sleeping beside him.

"Son," he said softly, "I spent years chasing things that don't last. Money comes and goes. Health comes and goes. Even people come and go. But God's love never leaves."

David stared at the ground.

Walter continued, "Cancer taught me something. Every day is a gift. Not because life is easy, but because God is still with us."

"But what about my past?" David asked. "I've messed up too much."

Walter smiled.

"Look at Max."

The little dog lifted his head.

"When I found him, he was scared, hungry, and covered in scars. But he didn't stay there. He learned to trust again."

David looked at the dog.

"Son, if God can make something beautiful out of a broken life, He can do the same for you."

Tears filled David's eyes.

For a long moment neither of them spoke.

The evening sun began to set.

Finally Walter placed his hand on his son's shoulder.

"You can't change yesterday. None of us can. But with Christ, your past doesn't get the final word. God does."

Months later, Walter's cancer took him home to be with the Lord.

The bench outside the apartment remained.

And every morning, David sat there with Max beside him.

When people asked why he came every day, he would smile and say:

"My dad taught me that life isn't about what you own. It's about who you trust."

Then he would look toward heaven and quietly add:

"And because of Jesus, the story isn't over yet."

Good night brothers and sisters, sleep well 😴🙏

Heavenly Father,

As this day comes to an end, we come before You with grateful hearts. Thank You for Your love, mercy, and protection that carried us through today. Thank You for every blessing seen and unseen, and for being faithful even when we are weak.

Lord, as we lay down to rest, quiet our minds and calm our hearts. Take away every worry, fear, and burden that we have been carrying. Help us to trust You with the things we cannot control and to rest in the peace that only You can give.

Watch over our homes and families tonight. Surround us with Your angels and keep us safe from harm. Bring comfort to the hurting, strength to the weary, healing to the sick, and hope to those who feel discouraged.

Father, forgive us for our sins and help us to walk closer with You each day. Renew our strength while we sleep and prepare us for the opportunities You have for us tomorrow.

May we rest knowing that You are in control, that Your plans are good, and that Your love never fails.

We place this night into Your hands and thank You for the gift of another day.

In Jesus' mighty name we pray,

Amen. ❤️🙏🌙
