Greetings Paddlers,

We are getting ready for a busy weekend. Our water level is at our normal summer low level. There are plenty of places to stop and as always there is a path down the river that allows you to paddle the whole route.

Weekend update:
Friday - we have boats available, for a same day reservation the quickest way is to book online.

Saturday - we are sold out of all rental boats and shuttles for personally owned boats

Sunday - we are sold out of premium sit on tops, basic sit insides, and premium tandems. We will be watching the weather for Sunday and will post updates that morning.

We are open today, Thursday June 18. The forecast shows rain and pop storms developing in the afternoon, therefore our last drop off today will be at 11 am and we would like to get groups off the water by 4 pm

We are open today, Tuesday June 16. The water level has dropped and will continue to drop throughout the day. We are still a little on the high side, but you won’t have to work very hard today. There are places to stop but they will be more limited.

I do not have good news, we will be closed today, Monday June 15, which is unfortunate since the weather is gorgeous.

Upstream of us received heavy rain yesterday. The Milltown section went up 1 1/2 feet overnight and that water is reaching our section today. So we will begin a sharp rise in water levels in the next hour or so. Throughout the day, the gravel bars will disappear and the island will go under water. The current will increase and the water will become muddy from the silt.

We will contact our rental reservations and our mussel float participants to see if you want to reschedule or receive a refund.

We are open today, Sunday, Jun14. We might get a few showers and may get a pop-up storm, sort of a typical summer day.

Our water level remains low and slow, but you can still find enough water to paddle the whole route.

For a same day reservation, the best way is to book online.

We are looking forward to a beautiful Saturday. It is forecasted to be a sunny and warm day, the rain doesn’t move into our area until after dark. Our water level is low, but we still have a channel you can make it down without having to drag your boat.

Saturday Availability: we have just a few rentals and shuttle spaces available today. The best way is to book online.

Sunday: we are watching the weather for tomorrow and the timing of the storms. We will post an update in the morning.

We will be closed today, Friday June 12. The forecast show rain and potential thunderstorms throughout our drop off time. It may clear up this afternoon but we won’t be able to get groups launched because of the rain.

We didn’t not receive heavy rain yesterday so our water level is good.

We will be closed again today, Tuesday June 9. As of this morning our area is still under a flood watch. The forecast shows the big storms missing us but we are still at risk for pop up storms with heavy rain.

Our water levels are still good so we hope to reopen Wednesday.
