Summer Break Café is back! Richland Library is participating in Summer Break Café by serving free meals this summer at three library locations:
🍓 Edgewood | 2102 Oak Street, Columbia, SC 29204
🍉 North Main | 5306 North Main Street, Columbia, SC 29203
🍇 St. Andrews | 2916 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29210
A safe space where kids and teens ages 18 and under can get a free meal; lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. every Monday-Friday, June 3-July 31 (except July 3).
Francis Burns United Methodist Church sponsors the program, which is administered in South Carolina by the South Carolina Department of Education.

As CEO of D.W. Davis Consulting, LLC, she specializes in helping individuals overcome barriers and grow in life and business. A Certified Public Manager, she brings expertise in grant writing, program development, and AI-driven business strategies.
During her residency, she’ll share her expertise with entrepreneurs and small business owners through an array of free programs and one-on-one coaching sessions.

Richland Library Sandhills will be closed for the remainder of Thursday, June 4, through Tuesday, June 9, for necessary maintenance repairs. The location is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, June 10.
🚨 The Teen Otaku Experience featuring Stephanie Williams on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. will take place as scheduled at the R2i2 Conference Center. The conference center is located in the same building as Richland Library Sandhills and will remain accessible during the closure.

Thirty-one years ago, Allgood from Athens, held a show at Columbia hot-spot, Rockafellas.
Rockafellas closed in the late 90s, but not before hosting music acts like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hootie & the Blowfish, Green Day, and many more.
