The Reading Intervention Starts Early (RISE) program trains tutors to help K–2 students build strong reading skills. Tutors learn to teach reading, writing, and spelling through fun, hands-on activities and step-by-step lessons that help children grow into confident, successful readers.

Happy back-to-school season! πŸŽ’ ✏️ In 1971, students would hang out outside of Columbia High School, the city's first public high school, on Washington Street. Today, students and teachers of Columbia High School head to Westchester Drive instead.
