Hey everyone! The combo of low signups and wavering chance of rain means - womp womp. Tonight's sound bath at Cherry Hill Park is once again cancelled. Part of being a full-time event planner has really been learning to manage my own disappointment. ;) It's just been a super rainy year. I am processing refunds for the folks who signed up today.

Fortunately the rain means we've had lots of awesome sound baths at the studio downtown - the rain is sort of the starring feature. So come join us at 10am or 2pm tomorrow. Note that this will be the last week we're doing a Sunday morning sound bath. New time will be 1pm on Sundays - and I'll have other wonderful teachers joining me on the schedule teaching other cool stuff this month!

I am super hopeful that we'll get to do our alt 4th of July at the park - for now, plan on it! If we get rained out again, at least everyone in town will be rained out with us. ;)

A little update on how things are going, coming into First Friday in the North Village Arts District. 💜

We have our liquor license sorted and our fridge is stocked!! We will have dancing and an aura photographer this Friday - come over and say hi! We're right on the footpath from Serendipity to Orr Street.

I have consciously chosen not to buy much patio furniture at this point, because we sadly don't yet have the liquor license in place for our outdoor space. I had the idea after I had already submitted everything, and I was afraid it would tie things up too long for us to be open in June. I am sort of holding my breath - there is a slim chance it will come through by this weekend. If not, it'll probably come through next week.

I haven't bought stanchions yet, and I don't have a bouncer - so I guess we'll keep it all inside this month either way. :)

But July - July?! All bets are off. WHITE PARTY. Outdoor dancing. Wear white.

Just for the sake of saying it - I understand if anyone who has tickets for our 10am this morning wants to stay home. The rain has been a lot this week, and I want everyone to be safe.

That said, the rain on the roof is magic.

Hey friends! Our event calendar is a mess right now... I'm so sorry. I'm working on getting it cleaned up as I push out our June events. This broken ankle really altered our timeline - which is to say it just pushed it back a lil. I'm not the most amazingly mobile right now, and it turns out bone mending requires more sleep, to boot.

Just so everyone has a general picture of what's up, we are working (a little more slowly) behind-the-scenes to prepare for a couple private parties in mid-June and then we will be officially fully open. Cafe, studio, outdoor patio and all! 💜
