I get a lot of inquiries for new sculptures, lectures, or demonstratios, but did you know I also offer Topiary Therapy workshops, as well as professional development to horticulture teams?

The Topiary Therapy workshops consist of participants learning more about how creative pruning techniques can lead to stress relief and improvement of the their health and wellness, while they create a topiary sculpture from a small shrub. Topiary is a life journey that will teach you confidence, self empowerment, and patience. They leave with a sense of accomplishment and peace.

Many horticulturalist around the country never have the opportunity to learn about the art of topiary because there simply aren't enough educators teaching it's applicability. As the nations leading educator on topiary, my professional development program teaches a new methodology approach called the Gibson Method. A system that blends the horticultural techniques with contemporary artistic vision. Students focus on the form, narrative, perspective, and symbolism of selectively pruning a living sculpture. These programs can be conducted at one institution or as a practicum seminar for multiple institutions and their staff.
