Appointment Setter – Water Quality Awareness (Part-Time)
We are looking for a personable, high-energy individual to join our local Water Quality Awareness campaign. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people and wants to make a tangible impact on community health.
Neat, clean professional for a “blue jeans” kind of job! Fun personality and a great smile go a long way in this role!
You won’t be selling products door-to-door; instead, you’ll be the "face" of our initiative, educating residents and scheduling them for free water safety tests.
The Details
Role: Appointment Setter / Community Canvas
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week (flexible evening/weekend shifts available). Shifts are about 2 hours. Great for those wanting work a few hours after their day job!
Location: Remote in the Columbia SC area with a focus on Elgin, Blythewood and Hopkins.
Focus: Awareness and scheduling (no direct sales).
What You’ll Do
Engage: Approach homeowners to start friendly conversations about local water quality.
Educate: Briefly explain the goals of our awareness campaign.
Schedule: Secure appointments for our technicians to perform complimentary water analysis.
Report: Keep simple logs of daily interactions and scheduled slots.
Who You Are
A Natural Conversationalist: You aren't intimidated by strangers; in fact, you thrive on making new connections.
Professional & Reliable: You can work independently and represent the campaign with integrity.
Passionate: A genuine interest in environmental health or community service is a huge plus!
Note: This is an entry-level position. No prior water-treatment experience is required—we’ll provide all the "water wisdom" you need to succeed.
Compensation: Average earnings of $30.00+ per hour!
