Huge congratulations to two of our great customers! Hunter Whitehead drove Mitchell Seymore’s brand new Camaro to a 20k win this weekend in Montgomery.

Two weeks into racing this brand new hotrod: Mitchell won the first weekend out in footbrake, and hunter picks up a 20k top bulb win the second weekend.

Proud of our customer and friend Mitchell Seymore for sweeping the points again this year at Montgomery! We are super proud to be a small part of his program. He and his soon to be bride just picked up a fresh 434 for another ride they will be debuting soon, and we can’t wait to see it! Congratulations Mitchell, and thanks for choosing us to service your engines.

PSA: Don’t Trust EBAY Parts!

A customer brought in a set of LS heads to be serviced, along with a set of springs to match his upgraded cam. These springs (and cam) were what was recommended by multiple people on Facebook groups - on eBay because they were cheap.

Coil Bind on the springs he provided measured 1.320” which would put the spring into coil bind about .200” before max lift of his camshaft.

We’ll be installing a new Brian Tooley Racing Valve Spring Kit on these heads so these guys can beat on this engine with no worries for a long time to come.
