Shaved firewall on a 1956 Chevy truck all wrapped up, 16 gauge plugs to match same thickness as original panel. Fit in tight then tig welded, grind and planished out. Lots of work of course, but well worth it in the end.

Clean and simple always takes a lot of effort, Tim came up with a game plan then went to town on it. We had to mount the new fuel tank first, along with the Holley Performance EFI before any of these custom stainless were made.

Here is the process we use to extract broken of bolts/screws, this is how we start every time and go from there. We also had to fill in (tig weld) some wore out threads then grind flat, center punch, drill & tap. Mig weld is to fast and hard for this type of repair before anyone asks, the tig is just the way to go. Hopefully this helps some one out there in the real world ππ½

Danny's VW bus came in for some roof rust repairs, panel alignment and window nut plate repairs. Now it can go back together, woohoo! It was a lot of work to say the least, we all jumped on it to make it happen, can't wait to see this one on the road ππ½

Finally had time to finish our chip board (pattern/template material) holder, every one in the shop had a hand in it, Ben took the initial steps to make it and mock it up. Now we can see how much we have left in stock and it won't get damaged and wavy leaning against a cabinet or wall, hope this helps someone out there

We ended up having to make a larger part to seal this opening, we will plug weld through that outer fl**ge. My old harbor freight bead roller came through as always, I need to make a set of dies for the Pullmax for this exact process, then I won't have to buzz up the center hole. Here's a few pics of what it took, you don't need the best tools/machines to do this stuff, make the best of what you do have, make samples and figure it out ππ½βπ½

1950's Chevrolet Suburban upper clam shell hinges restoration, this set was one the worst we have had to repair, someone else had already tried and made a mess. Chris the owner was able to borrow a nice original set for us to go by, this made it a lot easier to double check everything. All new hardware is from McMaster-Carr. It was a good thing I still had the jig I made years ago to straighten these out after all of the tig welding, now these hinges are good as new! Thanks for looking

Huge shout out to Classic/Muscle Car Restoration and his AWESOME customer for allowing us to work out our OCD on this C-10 build! We started with a one off tailgate and worked forward from there, every part we touched was dialed in to flow with its surrounding neighboring panels. It is a pleasure cranking out work at this caliber, thanks for looking ππ½
A few videos of what we did last week, getting panels to fit this tight is a labor of love! Thanks for looking

The not so simple C-10 inner fender close out panels we made for Classic/Muscle Car Restoration it ended up being two separate panels, made from a few smaller sections of course. Can't wait to see this one after body work and paint! Thanks for looking
