Making Progress on Combating Antibiotic Resistance 10/21/2016

The Department of Health and Human Services was tasked to work with other Federal Partners to come up with a plan to combat antibiotic resistant bacteria. The progress includes developing new antibiotics and diagnosing more accurately . Antibiotic resistance is increasing rapidly, and steps like these need to be taken for the effective prevention and treatment of wide range of infections.

Making Progress on Combating Antibiotic Resistance The CARB Task Force, which includes the Departments of Defense and Agriculture, has been working to implement the National Action Plan for over a year now.
