This year has been a difficult one. Between the late freezes and now the abundant pest it has been rough. But the is always beauty to be found in the garden, you just have to look.

Mulching day!

Well more like mulching week. With the seeds sprouting and the hotter weather upon us we are laying down a good layer of mulch for water conservation. Water conservation is so important to the plants and to Colorado.

Would anyone be interested in trying to transplant some raspberry runners?

We are working to clean up The Shire and these guys have taken over one of our paths!

We just sent all of our remaining tomatoes over to our sponsor site Phelan Gardens check them out if you need more veggie start!

With the weather slated to still be in the 40s up here at 10 we have delayed to opening of the sale and volunteer time to 11am. tommorrow It is also likely that we will have the plants inside a small greenhouse on sight.

Hopefully the weather forecast stays favorable so we can have still have a great day in the Garden!

We are watching the weather but right now it looks like we are going to be a bit cold for the Plant sale, so we may have to delay or cancel Friday. Saturday still looks good though!
