During a recent pre-drywall inspection, our inspector Dave discovered an issue with load-bearing wall. A few 2x4 supports had been cut out to make room for bathtub supply lines which compromises the structural integrity of the wall.

This is a perfect example of why pre-drywall inspections are so valuable. Once drywall goes up, issues like this can remain hidden for years and cause issues down the road. When building a home, there is a unique opportunity to see all aspects the build.

Catching any problems early gives buyers the opportunity to have concerns corrected before they become bigger headaches later on.

These three decided the truck needed a full inspection of its own—and they’re not in any hurry to wrap things up. We’ve explained there’s another appointment waiting, but negotiations are… ongoing.
