Over the last two weeks our friends from Harrison School District 2 have showed up at the food pantry to help serve our community since school is out they are still finding meaningful ways to show up and serve for the community they love so dearly.
This is what community is about working together to ensure no one goes hungry in our community.

We are still looking for 9 volunteers this Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to help at the Aquapod Farm. Every volunteer makes a difference as we work to grow fresh food for our community.

We had the cutest group of donors come through and donate cereal to the food pantry today. A in home day care collected food for us over the last few weeks and we can’t say thank you enough remember you are never to young to give back and no donation is to small.

Saturdays are now our main volunteer day at the SRCDC Aquapod Farm this summer, and we need your help!

Thank you Panthers Gate Lil Witch University & Metaphysical Store and Green Magick Apothecary for hosting a cereal and milk drive at a last minute pop up event. Our top needed items this month is cereal and shelf stable milk so we can help provide breakfast items for our community at least once a month especially since kids are out of school. Your generosity means hope for us stock our shelves for our community and feed our community another week. As a community working together we can, can hunger one can at a time one box of cereal at a time with food drives like these.

A huge thank you to The Buzzy B for hosting a Fill a Truck food drive at your event today. Thanks to the generosity of your customers, vendors, and community members, you collected 859 pounds of food for the Solid Rock Community Development Corporation Food Pantry!

These donations will be a tremendous help as we work to keep our shelves stocked for the nearly 600 families we serve each week.

We are so grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this food drive a success.

One of the highlights of the day was watching a young child proudly drop off a few cans of food. Moments like that remind us that no act of kindness is too small. When we say everyone can make a difference, this is exactly what we mean.

Together, we can fight hunger one can at a time, one box of cereal at a time, and one act of kindness at a time.

As our food pantry at Solid Rock Community Development Corporation expands, serving nearly 600 families weekly, we're looking dedicated volunteers to join our team. Your support is crucial in meeting the rising demand and in serving our community with greater efficiency.

Would you be willing to spare just 3 hours a week? Your contribution can create a significant impact and warm countless hearts in our community. Youth 14 and older is welcome to volunteer without an adult ( just need adult to sign waiver(, 14 and under are welcome to volunteer with an adult.
