Urgent Foster Needed: Bonnie, a Young Rottweiler Pup Deserves a Second Chance!

We're looking for an experienced Rottweiler foster family for Bonnie, a 10-month-old female weighing approximately 70 pounds.

Bonnie's Story:
Bonnie came to us as an owner surrender due to housing reasons. Upon arrival, she was understandably fearful and stressed—low growling and alarm barking at staff as she processed the overwhelming shelter environment.

The Good News:
Bonnie has shown remarkable resilience! After decompressing, this sweet girl has:
• Allowed staff to handle and pull her from her kennel
• Leaned into petting and opened up to staff
• Accepted treats eagerly
• Initiated play in the enrichment yard
• Shown her true personality and potential

Current Temperament:
Bonnie is a young pup who is wary of strangers. She needs time to adjust to new people and will initially retreat or avoid them until she feels comfortable. With patience and a calm introduction, she warms up and shows her affectionate side.

Why She Needs Foster Care:
Given Bonnie's age, fearfulness, and breed-specific needs, we believe foster care is in her best interests. A home environment will allow her to decompress further, build confidence, and prepare for her forever family.

What We're Looking For:
• Foster families **familiar with the Rottweiler breed**
• Patient, experienced handlers
• Ability to provide a calm, structured environment
• Commitment to helping her build confidence with people
• Willingness to work on socialization in a positive way

Bonnie has so much potential and love to give. With the right foster family, she'll continue to blossom and become the confident, affectionate girl she's meant to be.

Ready to open your home to Bonnie? Submit your foster application at:
https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/fosterapplication/

Please include your breed experience and what you can offer Bonnie in your foster home. Let's help this special girl find her way!

🐾 Meet Sarah — Your Loyal Farmhand, Protector, and Cuddle Buddy!

Hi friends! My name is Sarah, and I've been searching for my forever home for over a year. I'm hoping the right family sees this and falls in love with me!

I'm a 2-ish year-old Great Pyrenees–Shepherd mix (some people think I may have Anatolian Shepherd in me, too). I'm a beautiful, fully vetted girl weighing about 100 pounds, with a huge heart and so much love to give.

❤️ A few things you'll love about me:

Great with kids
Friendly with adults (I LOVE cuddles!)
Wonderful with other dogs
Cat-friendly
House-trained
Excellent car rider
Raised in a loving home

I'm the total package—but I do have one special requirement.

I need room to roam. As a livestock guardian-type dog, being confined to a small yard just isn't for me. I love being outdoors, patrolling, and keeping watch over my people and property. If given the opportunity, I'll happily find ways to explore beyond a fence, so my ideal home has acreage, a rural setting, and space where I can do the job I was born to do.

My current location in southern Colorado has a busy road nearby, which isn't the safest environment for a free spirit like me. I'm looking for a family who understands guardian breeds and can provide the space and lifestyle where I can truly thrive. I can get past fences but always return home after a while.

In return, I'll be your devoted companion, loyal protector, and affectionate couch buddy after a day of watching over my kingdom. 🐶❤️

Could you be my perfect match? Or do you know someone who might be?

Meet Lulu 🐈

Lulu is a gorgeous girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart—once you earn her trust. She was taken in by a kind Samaritan who clearly loves her very much, but unfortunately cannot keep her due to resident dogs with a strong prey drive.

This chatty, expressive kitty absolutely loves to talk and will happily carry on a full conversation with you. She greets her people with excited meows and quickly becomes a devoted companion. She melts for head kisses, neck massages and whisker rubs. You can make friends quickly with irresistible squeeze treats like Churus. When she’s really happy, she may even drool a little, so you know she’s content!

Once comfortable, Lulu is incredibly affectionate and will want to be part of your daily life. She enjoys playtime, loves being talked or sung to, and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. She’s the kind of cat who loves attention.

Lulu would do best in a home that gives her a little time to settle in. She can be sensitive to loud noises and new environments at first, but blossoms into a social, loving companion once she feels secure. She would be OK with a dog who has lived with cats and respects her space. A calmer environment or older children would likely suit her best. We haven’t observed her around other cats.

One of Lulu’s favorite pastimes is watching the world outside—as long as the window is closed! Outside noises can remind her of her past, but a cozy perch with a safe view makes for her perfect cat TV!

The vet estimates that Lulu is 3-4 years old. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she’s ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished. She’s being fostered in Colorado Springs.

We're thrilled to announce that Bruiser has finally found his forever home! This special boy's journey has been a true testament to patience, love, and second chances.
Bruiser's Amazing Story:
Back in 2020, Bruiser was found running around a rock quarry with no home and no family. A kind-hearted lady in Roswell, NM stepped in and gave him shelter and care during those early days.
But Bruiser's story didn't end there. It took time, but eventually a wonderful foster family in Colorado opened their hearts and home to him. While in foster care, Bruiser learned what it truly meant to be part of a family - the comfort of a home, the joy of daily routines, and the unconditional love of people who cared about him.
Now, after years of waiting and hoping, Bruiser has his own forever family! His patience has finally paid off, and he's ready for all the adventures that await him.
From a scared dog running through a rock quarry to a beloved family member - Bruiser's transformation is a beautiful reminder of why rescue work matters.
To Bruiser's forever family: Thank you for giving this special boy the home he's always deserved. We know he'll bring endless love, loyalty, and joy into your lives.
Congratulations, Bruiser! Your long journey has led you home. May your days be filled with love, adventure, and all the happiness you've been waiting for.
Happy tails, sweet boy! 🐾💕
