π©Ί What is Cervical Cancer? Letβs Talk About It.
Cervical cancer begins in the cells of the cervix, the lower part of the uterus that connects to the va**na. Itβs most often caused by persistent infection with certain types of Human Papillomavirus (HPV)βa virus so common that nearly all individuals will be exposed to it at some point.
The good news? Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable cancers when caught early through regular cervical cancer screening, and vaccination. Yet, many people are unfamiliar with it until they or someone close to them is diagnosed.
π‘ Hereβs why awareness matters: Early stages of cervical cancer may not show any symptoms, making regular screenings crucial. Knowledge and prevention can save lives.
π Did you know what cervical cancer was before hearing about it or experiencing a diagnosis? Drop your thoughts in the comments and share how you first learned about cervical cancer. Your voice could educate and empower someone else.
