Axio Design
Axio is a boutique graphic design and branding agency based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our clients are at the center of everything we do at Axio.
They are the reason for our day. Their goals are our goals. They’ll tell you they can count on us to watch over their brand, to meet those sometimes crazy deadlines, to manage myriad details, and to give our best to every project, big or small. First, we ask questions (sometimes a lot of them). Second, we build a plan. Third, we communicate that plan and make sure it fits with our client’s vision

Kitted Out
With the 2026 World Cup finally arriving on American shores, enthusiasts of athletic aesthetics (Team Axio chief among them) are well-served by the diverse, dynamic assortment of international team gear on display. Each kit offers a unique canvas for meaningful visual storytelling, with many nations taking full advantage through vivid designs packed with references to historic and cultural markers. We’ve previously highlighted USA’s free-flowing flag design on this feed, and others worth shouting out include France’s verdigris and copper nod to the Statue of Liberty, and Belgium’s retro-tinged tribute to the great Surrealist painter Rene Magritte. Check out the link below for a collection of some of the most eye-popping designs. What’s your favorite kit?

YETI, Set, Go
Your brand nerd pals at Axio have long observed that many of the strongest, most durable modern brands are rooted in simplicity, whether that’s purely their visual identity, their messaging, or both. As warmer temperatures arrive, the ubiquitous coolers and drinkware of YETI (all caps, of course…that’s part of it!) will provide an illuminating example of this streamlined strength. While YETI has confidently carved out a brand footprint that aligns with their utilitarian, rugged products, a new ad campaign shows they have some creative versatility up their sleeve. By knocking their wordmark out of its rigid container and extending the brand to encompass an ecosystem of other four-letter words, the block becomes a flexible badge that can be made to fit in with virtually any lifestyle, sport or activity…showing there is truly a YETI for everything. Very NICE!

This upcoming Memorial Day weekend, and as we approach the 250th anniversary of our independence, please take a moment and join the Axio team in gratitude to the brave men and women who laid down their lives in defense of our country, our freedoms and our way of life. Theirs is a legacy worth honoring and preserving, and won’t forget their service, selflessness and sacrifice.

Every Moment Matters
To set the right tone in their new offices, USA Wrestling once again came to Axio, entrusting us with a wall mural in the reception area. As visual storytellers, we relish the opportunity to highlight USA Wrestling’s success in previous Games while blazing an attention-grabbing, inspiring trail forward to LA28. Looking to make a big, bold statement? Axio is your agency!

Think Pink
The month of May heralds many things: blooming flora; Mother’s Day and Memorial Day; and the sight of a certain pink pickup truck rolling around town. That’s right, be on the lookout for the Girl of the West truck! Sporting a snazzy coat of bold and branded Axio-designed graphics, the truck will be transporting Girl of the West Kaylee Gripentrog as she promotes the NFR Open at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo at appearances up and down the Front Range. ‘Tis the season!

Visitors to Colorado Springs Airport should be on the lookout for some fresh Axio-crafted creative, adorning both walls and digital screens. This year’s campaign is big and bold, just like the PRORODEO action that will be taking place inside Norris Penrose Event Center on July 14-18. As the graphics suggest, it is indeed almost time to Rodeo—have you gotten your tickets yet?? Swing by PikesPeakorBust.org today if not!

Athletic Aesthetics
Ah yes, that new uniform smell! With several NFL teams hopping on the redesign/refresh train this spring, the combo design/sports nerds at Axio were eager to review the results. Nike always does a great job with these, cranking up the fanfare and shining a light on the creative process while remaining tethered to each club’s unique brand. The trend this season is nostalgia, which has been true outside the sports world as well. These refreshes are aimed toward fans of a certain age, who will likely be overjoyed to see the Commanders leaning hard into their iconic Super Bowl-era look, or the revival of the Falcons’ splashy red helmets. No club seized the moment harder than the Titans—not satisfied with a one-off throwback look, they’ve almost fully shapeshifted into the Houston Oilers of old, baby blues and all. That said, there is tasteful nuance at play here, such as the clean logo update which incorporates the tri-star motif of the Tennessee state flag. Very thoughtful, extremely well-executed stuff and we’re excited to see it in motion this fall!

Catching ‘Em All
When it comes to commercial trends, Team Axio keeps tabs on Target—great place to shop, even better brand strategy and implementation. The retail giant is known for its tastemaking collabs with other brands, and they’ve got a pretty fun one coming next month to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokemon. Not one to shy away from vivid palettes and playful whimsy, Target’s core brand is a uniquely great fit for Pokemon’s colorful characters, realized nicely by the collaboration’s delightful apparel range. While the cheeky integration of Starter jackets and Trapper Keepers lends a retro vibe aimed squarely at Millennial fans, the range’s approachable pricing ensures that the kiddos will be able to score some cool gear, too. Good stuff! (Image credit: Target)

New Guy in Town
Team Axio is deeply plugged into the Apple brand, quite literally, as daily users of their products in both desktop in mobile settings. Beyond the products, the computing giant is also an all-time success story in brand building. Clean, intuitive minimalism is kind of their whole thing, so when they deviate from that, it raises eyebrows. As part of a recent push to court a younger, more social media-savvy crowd with the MacBook Neo, Apple is going all-in on whimsy—personified by the undeniably cute “Finder Guy”, as he is now unofficially known in the zeitgeist. Longtime Apple advocates know the brand has a history of dabbling in such things, be it through unusually shaped iMacs, vivid colorways and fun accessories, but this feels like Apple boldly cranking that dial up to 11. Early returns on Finder Guy indicate the vibes are positive, but it’s a risky play…become beloved like Baby Yoda, or reviled like Microsoft’s pushy Paperclip Guy? It’s all in the ex*****on, something in which Apple generally excels. We’re rooting for you, Finder Guy!
