An hour in Olivers chair did more for my mental health than anything else I've done this week. (SWIPE for the after!)
A fresh haircut is therapy for me! You sit down, have an awesome conversation with a friend, he fusses over every detail and nobody needs a single thing from me for an hour. I always walk out looking feeling lighter and thinking got it all together — even when I don't!
I never realize how much I need it until I 'm there.
I forget sometimes that taking care of myself is allowed to just feel good. No productivity points. No phone calls. No emails.

Most eye products are creams. Ours is a serum on purpose.
Here's the thing about creams: they're mostly water held together with emulsifiers and wax. That works fine in some places, but the skin around your eyes is the thinnest on your whole face. It doesn't need fillers. It needs the actives without the dillution. Full strength ingredients without the irritation.
So we built the Eye Defense Serum as an oil-based eye serum — no water, no fillers. Just plant oils like squalane, grapeseed, camellia, rosehip. Then we layered in ceramide NP to support the barrier, bakuchiol, and astaxanthin — a deep-red antioxidant from algae that helps calm and soften the look of that delicate eye area.
A little goes a long way. One drop, patted in gently, morning and night.

So I spent a long time on the ingredient ratios. Enough plant-based powders to absorb wetness, the right butters and oils to glide on smooth without that sticky feeling, and a formula that actually lasts past noon.
I make it in small batches, by hand, in the shop — including a baking soda-free version for sensitive underarms.
Natural deodorant that works isn’t a unicorn. It’s just a matter of getting the proportions right.

16+ years of formulating and bakuchiol is still one of my favorite ingredients to talk about.
It comes from the babchi plant and it’s been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries — but what makes it interesting for modern skincare is what it does for aging skin without the irritation that comes with retinol. No peeling, no sensitivity, no avoiding the sun.
The extract I use is 99% pure. That matters because most bakuchiol on the market is diluted down to the point where you’re barely getting any benefit.
I use it in two formulas — one oil based, one water based — because your skin can absorb it both ways and I wanted to make sure every routine type could get the benefit.

The reason I added this brush to the shop is honestly pretty simple — you use less product and get more out of it.
When you apply cleanser or a mask with your fingers, a lot of it stays in your hands. The silicone brush gets it onto your skin where it actually belongs. Better coverage, better contact, less waste.
It’s also so much more sanitary than using your hands or a cloth. Silicone doesn’t harbor bacteria the way other materials do — you just rinse it and you’re done.
I’ve been recommending it to customers for a while and finally just started carrying it because the question kept coming up.
