Snow wraps up this evening, but watch out tonight as any slushy spots will freeze making for slick travel overnight and into tomorrow morning.

Even if you’re not a fan of snow, this system brought some great moisture to many in the area!

In other news, am I the only one ready for snow?! I’m a little bored with this current super warm, super dry weather pattern… looking forward to a more active weather pattern setting up (hopefully!) next weekend! I’m anxious to get this season started!

From met at the station to mom at the rink… it was a quick turn around this morning, but how cute (and tough!) is my tiny hockey player 😍 We are loving the program at - Bode is obsessed and convinced he’s the next …

Cooler and breezy today (windiest conditions should be across the plains)… but still able to be enjoyed!

We took advice and made the very short drive to see “Off The Beaten Path” in Green Mountain Falls and we’re so glad we did! Pictures definitely don’t do it justice. See it while you can, as it will be removed after October 19.

If you didn’t know, you can make a whole afternoon of it, too! There are several other really neat immersive art exhibits nearby, a great playground and the perfect little creek kids can splash in if they get hot… like mine did 👍 It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon!

Even though we won’t be completely storm-free this weekend, storms will be few and far between thanks to drier air being pulled into the state (Saturday will likely end up with a few more storms than Sunday, but both days look relatively boring weather-wise). Temps will be in the 90s and 100s on both Saturday and Sunday.

Thankful for the opportunity to bring you your forecast tonight - every time I pop in here, I am reminded how fun this job is… and how amazing the team is here ❤️

I’m sorry your Memorial Weekend forecast isn’t looking nicer… tomorrow morning will be fine if you have a morning hike planned! But, after that, expect storms to pop up during the afternoon that could become strong to severe so be sure to have an indoor backup if you have outdoor plans. Sunday will be stormy again, but my hope is that the atmosphere will be just stable enough to somewhat limit the severe potential? Monday, the potential for severe afternoon storms gets a little higher again…

It will be cooler this weekend, too, so plan accordingly friends 😬 Thanks for letting me bring you your forecast this evening! I’ll be back in June!

Would you?! This is - a hike in/hike out “hotel” room suspended on the side of a mountain in Patagonia. It’s a bucket list vacation spot for me, and my 6-year-old adventure buddy says he is all in (when he’s old enough to endure the hike, of course…) but my husband and 3-year-old say they’ll wait for us on a beach somewhere 😂 It has weirdly become the topic of a lot of conversation lately around our dinner table…

Have you guys ever done this?! We’ve been going to FOREVER… but we decided to give the kids’ legs a break from skiing so we headed over to the for the very first time and it blew all of my expectations away! You guys, it was SO fast… the staff told us that this time of year you can get up to about 50mph 🤯 We all decided it was the highlight of our Spring Break.

These high temps tomorrow 👀 Looks nice, right? Unfortunately, they come with a catch: WIND. It’ll be one of those days where the wind just ruins it for us… blowing dust & high fire danger will be major issues on Monday, with RED FLAG WARNINGS already issued for most of Southern Colorado beginning at 11AM.
