Monday momentum on the west side 💪🏽

Garage framing is officially underway. The main beam is set, walls are going up, and the crew is locking everything in—checking elevations, keeping it square, and making sure every connection is solid 🔨📐

This is the stage where precision matters most. Get the structure right, and everything else follows.

Blower Door Test 🏠💨 What is it?

A blower door test measures how airtight a home is by using a calibrated fan to find hidden air leaks.

As the GC, we complete a blower door test to make sure the home meets energy code ✅, verify quality air sealing 🔍, improve comfort and efficiency 🌡️⚡, and catch issues early—before they turn into costly fixes 🛠️.

A little Friday throwback to a project we wrapped up some time ago.

Underground utilities is one of those phases that doesn’t produce much visual appeal, but it sets the foundation for everything that comes next. 🚧

When there’s a plan in place, we follow it. That’s important, because even small deviations at this stage can lead to future problems. Our job as the general contractor is making sure what’s happening in the field matches what’s shown in the plans.

Walking back in on a Monday and seeing the progress from last week never gets old. New cabinets are in, the drywall is hung, and the flooring is down — the living room and kitchen at The Prospect are officially starting to feel like a home.
