Inhale: God, You made me …

Exhale: and You love me.

A breath prayer is a word or phrase to repeat in a single breath with one part on the inhale and the other part on the exhale. Breath prayers help us focus on God and His presence with us.

Every lesson invites children to wonder about God, discover His character, experience His love, and respond to His invitation for relationship.

Every year kids will have a deeper understanding of who God is, how each part of the Bible fits into God’s Big Story, and who they are as a child of God.

Beginning Sunday, June 28, children will discover more from the Psalms about the unchanging character of God—the loving, caring, faithful shepherd—and their identity as His kids, wonderfully and purposefully created. Together you’ll come to God like the psalmists of old with singing, shouting, and crying out your prayers and praises to the One who is worthy!

Tomorrow you'll speak a blessing of unity over your kids before church ends. Encourage grown ups to take this during the week and speak it over their kids individually.

Wondering how to speak a blessing? Have children hold out their hands, as you speak words directly to them. Look them in the eyes as you can!
