“Purple is one of my favorite colors. I am also into Steampunk and it is a part of a costume I wear. My character’s name is Penelope Harrington. She is a traveling journalist along the line of Nellie Bly. She feels the purple neck bow is a touch of elegance to wear when traveling (often in dirty/dusty circumstances).
