This black scarf is a result of a participant offering a new perspective to The Deborahs Project, which resulted in another phase - a mailing event and the exchange installation GOCA121 - downtown gallery exhibition!
Thank you Martha for becoming a “Deborah,” eventually leading to someone becoming a “Martha” who wore a black scarf to an event!

“Purple is one of my favorite colors. I am also into Steampunk and it is a part of a costume I wear. My character’s name is Penelope Harrington. She is a traveling journalist along the line of Nellie Bly. She feels the purple neck bow is a touch of elegance to wear when traveling (often in dirty/dusty circumstances). She started out working for the “Black & White Standard” and now works for “The Rocky Mountain News.” She has done some undercover work as well.” “Thank you for making the arts more interactive!” - Carol
