🔥⚾️ A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO ROWAN KELLY! ⚾️🔥

We want to give a BIG congratulations to Rowan Kelly from our Colonie 11U team for an incredible weekend at the "Can O' Corn" Tournament at the Ripken Experience in Aberdeen! 🏆

Rowan had himself quite a weekend…

💣 11U HOME RUN DERBY CHAMPION! 🏆

And he wasn't finished there!

Then on Saturday, Rowan stepped up in a game and delivered when his team needed him most — hitting a GO-AHEAD GRAND SLAM! 💥💥💥💥

Win the Home Run Derby.
Then hit a go-ahead Grand Slam.

That's one heck of a weekend! 🔥

Congratulations, Rowan! We're incredibly proud of you and can't wait to see what comes next!

❤️💛⚾️ WAY TO REPRESENT COLONIE BASEBALL! ⚾️💛❤️

❤️💛⚾️ ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END… ⚾️💛❤️

The last ride may be over, but what a ride it was.

Unfortunately, the boys' run came to an end in their first game on Championship Sunday. But while the baseball ended, the memories they created in Cooperstown will last a lifetime.

The Colonie Raiders 12U team gave us an experience we will never forget.

6-0. A trip to Championship Sunday. One of the final 16 teams standing out of 104 teams.

2nd place out of 104 in the team around the horn competition
2nd place in the golden arm competition

But the wins and losses don't tell the whole story.

Words can't fully express how proud we are of this group of boys. They represented Colonie Baseball, their families and each other with tremendous pride, effort and class.

And to everyone who supported them along the way — THANK YOU!

Thank you to the Colonie Baseball program.
Thank you to our community.
Thank you to the families and friends who followed along from home.
And thank you to the coaches, parents and supporters who made the trip to Cooperstown.

And perhaps most special of all, thank you to the other baseball programs who stopped by, cheered for us and showed these boys what youth baseball is really supposed to be about. That support meant more than you know. ❤️⚾️

We talked all week about "One Last Ride."

And yes… 12U is now complete.

Five years of playing together.
Five years of practices.
Five years of tournaments and road trips.
Five years of wins, losses, laughs, friendships and memories.

That chapter is officially closed.

But this is NOT the last chapter.

The boys may be leaving the 12U field behind, but they're moving on to a bigger field, bigger challenges and many more years of baseball still ahead.

The friendships will continue.
The families will continue.
The memories will continue.

THE BASEBALL WILL CONTINUE. ⚾️

So here's to the next chapter.

To bigger fields.
To new challenges.
To more road trips.
To more laughs.
To more wins.
To more memories.
And to many more years of fun, family and baseball.

Thank you, 12U Raiders, for one hell of a last ride.

We couldn't be more proud of you.

❤️💛⚾️ THE NEXT CHAPTER STARTS NOW. ⚾️💛❤️

🏆⚾️ THE LAST RIDE IS NOT OVER YET! ⚾️🏆

CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY!

For the first time in Colonie Raiders history, a team is headed to Championship Sunday at Cooperstown Dreams Park! ❤️💛

After tonight's incredible 11-3 victory, the Raiders are now 6-0 in the tournament and have earned their spot among the final teams standing out of 104 teams!

📅 SUNDAY
⏰ 9:00 AM
🏟️ FIELD 8
🏆 CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY

🔥 HOW DID THEY GET HERE?

MAX BARROWS WAS UNBELIEVABLE! 💣💣

Max launched TWO HOME RUNS, including a GRAND SLAM, going 3-for-3 with 5 RBI!

💥 Aiden Vitkus — his 3rd HOME RUN of the tournament!
🔥 Caden Edick — 3 RBI
🔥 Carter Apollo-Weigel — 2 RBI
🔥 Cam Huffland — another multi-hit game

And then there was the pitching...

😳 MAX BARROWS WAS DOMINANT.

5⅔ innings.
1 run allowed.
12 STRIKEOUTS. 🔥🔥🔥

An absolutely incredible pitching performance when the Raiders needed it most.

Six games.
Six wins.
And now...

CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY.

Five years of playing together. Five years of practices, tournaments, road trips, wins, losses, laughs and memories.

And now these boys have earned the opportunity to play on Cooperstown championship Sunday.

Whatever happens Sunday, this is a moment these kids — and everyone who has been along for the ride — will never forget.

But they're not satisfied yet.

ONE MORE DAY.
ONE MORE RIDE.
ONE MORE CHANCE TO MAKE HISTORY.

❤️💛⚾️ LET'S GO RAIDERS!!! ⚾️💛❤️

🔥⚾️ DAY 4 IN COOPERSTOWN — ELIMINATION SATURDAY! ⚾️🔥

Day 4 begins today… but not until 7:00 PM!

Why?

Because that's what happens when you WIN BOTH GAMES ON FRIDAY! 😤🔥

The Colonie Raiders 12U are 5-0 and heading into elimination Saturday as the #4 seed out of 104 teams! 🏆

Let that sink in.

⚾️ Max Barrows — finished the 4th in perfect fashion
⚾️ Rocco Melino — shut the door with a hitless inning

📊 FIVE GAMES. FIVE WINS.

69 runs scored.

#4 SEED OUT OF 104 TEAMS.

But now, the record doesn't matter.

It's win or go home.

Five years of playing together have brought these boys to this moment. They've already made memories that will last a lifetime — but they're not done yet.
